Congressman Juan Ciscomani, representing Arizona’s 6th district since 2023, has been vocal about his legislative priorities on social media. He is known for his commitment to both animal rights and healthcare reforms, as demonstrated in recent posts.
On April 16, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani announced his collaboration with Representative Dave Joyce on the ACE Act. He noted, "Proud to co-lead the ACE Act with @RepDaveJoyce! This bill creates a dedicated Animal Cruelty Crimes section within the DOJ to ensure law enforcement has the tools to hold animal cruelty offenders fully accountable." He characterized the bill as "a big step toward stronger protections for animals."
The following day, April 17, 2025, Ciscomani highlighted a letter sent to House GOP leadership and House Commerce Chairman Brett Guthrie. He directed readers to "Read more about this letter to @HouseGOP leadership and @HouseCommerce Chairman @RepGuthrie making my position on Medicaid clear."
In his concurrent post, he further outlined his stance on Medicaid. Ciscomani emphasized, "I support reducing government spending and strengthening Medicaid coverage for vulnerable populations. We must find responsible savings while protecting the elderly, disabled, and single mothers who rely on Medicaid."
Juan Ciscomani, who was born in Hermosillo, Mexico, in 1982, has resided in Tucson since his childhood. He is an alumnus of the University of Arizona, where he completed his BA in 2005. He succeeded Ann Kirkpatrick in U.S. Congress and has been actively involved in legislative activities representing his district since 2023.
