Congressman Juan Ciscomani, representing Arizona’s 6th district since 2023, recently shared a series of updates on his Twitter account. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982, Ciscomani relocated to Tucson and graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Arizona in 2005.
On April 16, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani tweeted about his recent initiatives, highlighting his return of $2.8 million to constituents in Arizona's 6th district. He also mentioned hosting a telephone townhall, introducing a significant water settlement bill—the largest in the state's history—and meeting with his Veteran Advisory Council.
In another post on the same date, Ciscomani expressed his opposition to reducing funding for essential government programs such as Medicaid, SNAP, and Pell Grants. He detailed his action of sending a letter to the Speaker of the House, urging the protection of these programs to ensure they continue serving the residents of the 6th district effectively.
Additionally, Congressman Ciscomani outlined his involvement on a visit to the Arizona-Mexico border with nine freshman GOP members of the House. His tweet further included references to hosting the third annual Service Academy Day, attending a naturalization ceremony, and inviting Pinal County Sheriff Ross Teeple to the President's Joint Address.
Ciscomani replaced former U.S. Congress member Ann Kirkpatrick in 2023, marking a new chapter for Arizona's 6th district under his leadership.
