Congressman Juan Ciscomani, representing Arizona’s 6th district since 2023, shared updates on his legislative efforts via a series of tweets. His communications highlighted the passage of his bill aimed at supporting law enforcement and securing the border, while also addressing misconceptions about the bill's intent.

On February 13, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani announced, "Promises made, promises kept! From Day 1, I promised to do everything I can to support law enforcement officers and secure the border. Today, I am thrilled to say that the House passed my bill to do just this!" He expressed gratitude towards colleagues for their support in passing the legislation.

Later that day, he responded to criticism from fellow legislator Rep. Bynum by stating ".@RepBynum, that is simply not what my bill does. I am happy connect you with my local law enforcement who brought his bill to my attention. We must rise above partisan rhetoric and work to protect our communities. I'm glad 50 of your Democrat colleagues agreed with me today." This response was directed towards clarifying misconceptions and emphasizing bipartisan support.

In a subsequent post on February 13, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani provided an update on the progress of H.R. 35, known as the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act: "Journey of H.R. 35, the Agent Raul Gonzalez Officer Safety Act so far and what’s next: January 3, 2024 - H.R. 35 introduced February 13, 2024 - H.R. 35 passes the House H.R. 35 heads to the Senate for consideration @SenTedCruz's companion bill (S. 512) is waiting…" This outlines both past achievements and future steps required for its enactment.
