The City of Tucson is included on the 2022 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America list, securing the No. 95 spot.
This is the first time the City made the Top 100 list. Each year, the City of Tucson submits a number of wellness award applications. One is through the Arizona Healthiest Employers application process. The local process then filters upward to the national process. The 2022 Healthiest 100 Workplaces in America awards program honors organizations that prioritize the well-being of their employees. Increased flexibility, work/life balance, and mental health resources have proven to be common trends among the honorees. Award applicants were evaluated across six key categories: Culture and Leadership, Foundational Components, Strategic Planning, Communication and Marketing, Programming and Interventions, and Reporting and Analytics.
The survey is scored and powered by Springbuk, a health intelligence platform to improve well-being and contain claims costs.
