Learn about Equitable Transit-Oriented Development.

Announcement

The  City of Tucson  Department of Transportation and Mobility (DTM)  recently launched Tucson  Norte-Sur: Investing in Resilient Communities +  Transit, the equitable  Transit-Oriented Development (eTOD) strategic  planning project for a  15-mile north-south corridor, which extends from  the Tucson Mall/Tohono  Tadai Transit Center to the north and to Tucson  International Airport to  the south. The Tucson Norte-Sur plan will be  developed by working with  Tucson communities to identify opportunities  for equitable reinvestment  and access along this future transit  corridor. Throughout 2022, the City  of Tucson will gather information  from communities, businesses, and  local organizations to develop a  vision for the Tucson corridor. DTM is  looking for public input to  understand what the community's vision is  for the future of the  corridor, while ensuring that new development  reflects the culture,  community, and sense of place found in surrounding  neighborhoods.
