City of Tucson issued the following announcement on July 20.
Vaccine hesitancy remains high in many high-risk communities due to a range of reasons, including mistrust and lack of access to culturally relevant and accurate information. The Pima County Health Department says COVID-19 vaccines are safe, and the department continues to offer mobile vaccination sites. New sites are added and locations sometimes change, so check the link below for the latest information. So far, more than 3.6 million people in Arizona, or 51.1% of the population, have received at least one dose of the vaccine, while nearly 3.3 million people are fully vaccinated with both doses.
