On March 8, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani tweeted about his visit to the southern border with other members of Congress. He emphasized that "The key to a secure border is having strong deterrence." During this visit, they examined the border wall and discussed potential enhancements to security measures.

Later that day, he posted another tweet detailing an evening tour at the southern border alongside Art Del Cueto. The focus was on addressing threats posed by Mexican cartels and strategies to combat spotters and informants aiding cartel operations. On March 9, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani led a group meeting with US Northern Command and other military divisions. The purpose was to understand their role in assisting Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and the Department of Homeland Security (DHS) as part of the Joint Task Force for Southern Border Operations.
