Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who has been serving Arizona's 6th district since 2023, recently shared a series of updates on social media. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico, in 1982 and now residing in Tucson, Ciscomani graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005. His posts touched on legislative efforts to combat drug cartels, local celebrations, and congratulations to public officials.

On January 27, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani addressed the issue of drug cartels utilizing social media platforms for recruitment. He stated: "Drugs cartels are using social media apps to recruit American citizens to smuggle their contraband." He introduced his bill HR 488, known as the Combating Cartels on Social Media Act, which aims to curb these activities and safeguard Americans.

Later that day, at 21:58 UTC, he expressed his pride in celebrating a milestone for McDonald's drive-thru service despite being unable to attend the event physically. He remarked: "While I wasn't able to make it in person, I was proud to celebrate the 50 year anniversary of the first McDonald's drive thru in @SierraVistaAZ!"

On January 28 at midnight UTC, Congressman Ciscomani extended his congratulations via Twitter with a brief message: "Congratulations Secretary Bessent!"
