Plan Tucson is calling on all community members to participate in the upcoming Community Forums, crucial steps in updating the City's General Plan. The long-range policy document plays a central role in shaping Tucson's future, covering essential areas such as housing, transportation, climate action, and growth.

"The more feedback we receive, the better the plan reflects our shared values and aspirations," stated Plan Tucson.

The forums provide an opportunity for residents to offer their input on the draft goals and strategies that will impact current and future plans and developments in Tucson. Additionally, community feedback will aid in updating the Future Growth Map, which will help guide the city's development.

To engage with the community, Plan Tucson has organized both virtual and in-person forums. The Virtual Forum is scheduled for Tuesday, May 14, 2024, from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., while the In-Person Forum will take place on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. The in-person event will be held at the Ward 2 Office, located at 7820 E. Broadway Blvd.

"Both events will have prizes, and the in-person event will have food and family-friendly activities," shared Plan Tucson.
