City of Tucson issued the following announcement on Jan. 20.
The public is invited to attend a Sunshine Mile Urban Overlay District Workshop. Learn how the Sunshine Mile overlay zone can help redevelop a site or expand a business. Representatives from Rio Nuevo and the City of Tucson will present an overview of the overlay, which promotes mixed-use, transit-oriented redevelopment along Broadway Boulevard, between Euclid Avenue and Country Club Road.
The workshop will be held Feb. 2, at 9:30 a.m., via Zoom. It will include information on the newly approved overlay and how to utilize it for further development and improvement along the Sunshine Mile. If you'd like to attend the workshop, email Brandihb@rionuevo-tucson.org.
