City of Tucson issued the following announcement on Jan. 12.
The City of Tucson is hosting an information session about the work of the Southern Arizona Coalition for Climate Adaptation and Resilience , Jan. 13, from 3-4:30 p.m. The session will provide an overview on how to participate in project proposal submissions as part of the U.S. Economic Development Administration’s (EDA) Phase Two "Build Back Better Regional Challenge Grant." The City of Tucson was named one of 60 finalists in the EDA’s Build Back Better Regional Challenge Phase One competition on behalf of the work of the Southern Arizona Coalition for Climate Adaptation and Resilience.
The coalition seeks project proposals related to sustainable agriculture, water resources, and clean energy. The timeline for submitting a proposal will be discussed at tomorrow's meeting and a recording of the meeting will be available afterward.
