Covid-19 Update and Vaccination Information as of November 8, 2021

Vaccine

City of Tucson issued the following announcement on Nov. 8.

Nov. 8, COVID-19 dashboard from the Arizona Department of Health Services (ADHS) adds 2,657 new cases and 0 deaths. ADHS has an interactive map with vaccine distribution sites, and there are multiple locations throughout Tucson. So far, more than 4.4 million people in Arizona, or 61.8.% of the population, have received at least one dose of the vaccine, and more than 4 million people are fully vaccinated with both doses. Kids ages 5-11 can now be vaccinated against COVID-19 with the Pfizer-BioNTech pediatric vaccine, and booster doses are available for several segments of the population.
