City of Tucson issued the following announcement on Oct. 21.
Transit improvements are coming to Broadway Boulevard in May 2022. The goal of the upcoming Broadway transit improvement project is to improve service quality from the City of Tucson's east side to downtown. A proposed rapid bus service on Broadway Boulevard would offer a more efficient way to travel from Houghton Road to Sixth Avenue. At a series of in-person and virtual meetings, the public will have the opportunity to provide feedback on the proposed service elements and amenities, service frequency, bus stop locations and more. • Friday (10/22) – Virtual meeting, 9:30-10:30 a.m.
• Wednesday (10/27) - Houghton Road Park-n-Ride, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
• Thursday (11/4)– Ronstadt Transit Center, 4:30-5:30 p.m.
• Tuesday (11/16) – Virtual meeting, 6-7 p.m.
• Wednesday (11/17) Udall Recreation Center, 9-10 a.m.
