President Donald Trump visited the Arizona Grand Resort in Phoenix to host a "Latinos for Trump" roundtable, which Gov. Doug Ducey took part in, AZ Family reported.
Many small business owners attended the meeting and thanked Trump for everything he did to help businesses in the U.S.
During the visit, Trump also discussed how Democratic presidential candidate Joe Biden wouldn't be good for Arizona if he became president, with Biden's poll number in Arizona higher than Trump's.
"Joe Biden, he doesn't sound too good to me," Trump said at the roundtable, AZ Family reported.
While Biden is currently ahead, Trump was carrying Arizona by three-and-a-half points in the 2016 election. Now, Biden is three points ahead of Trump, according to a Morning Consult poll from last week.
Democratic vice presidential candidate and California Sen. Kamala Harris held a virtual roundtable for Latinos last weekend in Arizona, but Biden has yet to announce his plans for visiting the state, AZ Family reported.
Vice President Mike Pence visited the state for his Hispanic Heritage Month roundtable Sept. 18. During his visit, he also met with Veterans for Trump.
