Vince Leach, a Republican elected to the Arizona State Senate in 2025 representing the 17th Senate District, has posted several comments on social media regarding federal workforce reductions and crime rates.

On August 24, 2025, Leach wrote: “Shrinking the size of government~good! Federal workforce to shrink by 300,000 employees in 2025.”

The following day, August 25, he commented on crime rates with a brief post: “And sky-high crime rates!”

Later that same day, Leach posted another message: “Seems pretty straightforward to me, right?”

Leach assumed office in the Arizona State Senate after winning the seat for District 17 in 2025. He succeeded Justine Wadsack in this role.
