Tucson Shooting: January 8, 2011
Jared Lee Loughner, born September 10, 1988, is an American mass murderer. He pleaded guilty to 19 charges of murder and attempted murder in connection with the January 8, 2011, Tucson shooting. During the incident, he severely injured U.S. Representative Gabby Giffords and killed six people, including Chief U.S. District Court Judge John Roll, Gabe Zimmerman, a member of Giffords’ staff, and a 9-year-old girl, Christina-Taylor Green. In total, Loughner shot and injured 13 people, including one man injured while subduing him.
Convicted in Tucson on October 1, 2017
Stephen Craig Paddock was convicted in connection with the 2017 Las Vegas shooting, where he killed 60 people and injured approximately 867 others at a country music festival. He took his own life after the attack.
