Former Salpointe Catholic High School basketball star Taliyah Henderson played for the North Carolina Tar Heels as they secured an 82-51 victory over the Western Illinois Leathernecks during the NCAA Tournament on Friday, March 20.
The contest was held at the Dean E. Smith Center, tipping off at 4:30 p.m.
In the game, Henderson added two points and three rebounds across nine minutes of play.
The Tar Heels are set to play again on Sunday, March 22 at 12 p.m. at the Dean E. Smith Center.
