On March 13, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani expressed his condolences for the loss of a fellow public servant. He stated: "Arizonans today lost a dedicated public servant. The following day, March 14, 2025, Ciscomani highlighted Women's History Month by recognizing Kara Riley's contributions as Oro Valley Police Department's first female police chief.
