Juan Ciscomani supports Scott Turner's HUD appointment; advocates women's sports protection

Congressman Juan Ciscomani, representing Arizona's 6th District since 2023, has recently shared a series of tweets addressing both political and personal matters. Born in Hermosillo, Mexico in 1982 and residing in Tucson, Ciscomani graduated from the University of Arizona in 2005. The tweets touch upon new appointments, sports advocacy for women and girls, and recent legislative actions.

On February 5, 2025, Congressman Ciscomani expressed his support for Scott Turner’s appointment as Secretary of the Department of Housing and Urban Development. He wrote: "Congratulations to our new @HUDgov Secretary Scott Turner! As a member of the @HouseAppropsGOP Subcommittee on Transportation, Housing and Urban Development, I look forward to working together!"

Later that day, he acknowledged National Girls and Women in Sports Day with a personal reflection: "Today, we celebrate National Girls and Women in Sports Day! I love seeing my three daughters compete in athletics, work hard and enjoy the sports they love. I will always fight to safeguard girls and women sports!"

In another post on February 5th, Congressman Ciscomani shared his presence at a significant event involving an Executive Order signing at the White House. He stated: "Signed, sealed, delivered! I was honored to be in the @WhiteHouse with fellow @HouseGOP colleagues and @Riley_Gaines_ as @POTUS signed an Executive Order to ensure there are no biological men competing in women sports. As a proud dad of 3 daughters, I will always protect..."
