U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani from Arizona's 6th District released a statement regarding the recent decision by Mexico and Canada to collaborate with the United States on border security and tackling the fentanyl crisis.

In his statement, Ciscomani emphasized the joint efforts of President Trump and Congress in addressing the fentanyl issue. He highlighted the importance of Arizona's trade relationships with both Mexico and Canada as crucial components of the state's economy. While acknowledging that tariffs may not be ideal, he stressed their necessity for ensuring public safety.

Ciscomani noted, "President Trump is using every tool at his disposal to do so. And it’s working." He further mentioned that recent discussions between President Trump and leaders from Mexico and Canada led to an agreement where both countries committed to being cooperative partners in securing borders and combating the fentanyl epidemic.
