U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani and House Veterans’ Affairs Chairman Mike Bost have expressed their approval following President Biden's signing of the Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act into law. This significant legislative package, led by Ciscomani in the House, aims to reform and modernize the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA).

Ciscomani stated, "The brave men and women who answered duty’s call to serve our nation are patriots of the highest order and deserve a VA that is able to deliver the support and benefits their service earned." He emphasized that the act will streamline benefits delivery, expand job training, promote housing access for homeless veterans, and support families and caregivers.

Chairman Bost remarked on the importance of putting veterans at the center of VA operations. "The Senator Elizabeth Dole 21st Century Veterans Healthcare and Benefits Improvement Act will do exactly that," he said. The legislation addresses various areas such as job training for transitioning servicemembers, mental health care improvements for caregivers, and expanded healthcare options.

Both leaders acknowledged the contributions of over 40 organizations in advancing this bill. They look forward to ensuring its effective implementation.
