U.S. Congressman Juan Ciscomani of Arizona, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, commented on the recent approval of H.R. 10545, known as the American Relief Act. The legislation aims to keep the government operational, offer aid to those affected by natural disasters, and provide support to farmers.

Ciscomani expressed his views on the bill, stating: “Continuing Resolutions are never ideal. While no bill is perfect, the American Relief Act takes care of our farmers, provides relief for Americans devastated by recent natural disasters, and makes sure our border patrol agents, military service members, and veterans are taken care of."

He also highlighted concerns about the budget process in Washington: "That being said, this week is a strong reminder that the budget process in Washington is broken. I look forward to working with President Trump and Republican majorities in both chambers of Congress to reform this process.”
