Juan Ciscomani discusses veterans' return and legislative efforts on water rights

Congressman Juan Ciscomani, who represents Arizona's 6th district in the U.S. Congress, recently shared updates on social media regarding his activities and engagements. Ciscomani has been serving in Congress since 2023 after succeeding Ann Kirkpatrick.

On November 13, 2024, Congressman Ciscomani welcomed veterans returning from an Honor Flight. "Welcome home to the 34th Honor Flight! 5 Korean War and 15 Vietnam Veterans just returned home from their trip to Washington DC where they visited the memorials dedicated to their service! Thank you for your courage and bravery and for serving our country!"

Later that day, he reported a meeting with representatives of the Navajo Nation concerning a legislative proposal. "Met with Navajo Nation to discuss my bill, HR 8940, the Northeastern Arizona Indian Water Rights Settlement Act. This bipartisan bill secures water rights for the Navajo Nation, Hopi Tribe, and San Juan Southern Paiute Tribe, ensuring a secure water future for Tribal communities."

In another update on November 13, Congressman Ciscomani emphasized the importance of staying connected with his constituents. "One of the most important parts of serving my district is staying in touch with the people I represent. Visiting the communities and meeting with constituents from around #AZ06 kept me engaged and made me a better Member of Congress. So grateful to be trusted with a 2nd term!"
