Juan Ciscomani engages in veteran advocacy and border security initiatives

Congressman Juan Ciscomani, representing Arizona's 6th district, has been actively engaging with veterans and addressing border security issues as reflected in his recent social media posts. His commitment to these causes is evident through various initiatives and recognitions highlighted on his platform.

On October 18, 2024, Congressman Ciscomani hosted a quarterly meeting with his Veterans' Advisory Council alongside House Veterans' Affairs Chairman Mike Bost. The meeting focused on discussing the challenges faced by veterans and potential legislative actions. "Today I hosted our quarterly meeting with my Veterans' Advisory Council with @HouseVetAffairs Chairman @RepBost to discuss issues affecting our veterans and what we can do to help in Congress. Later that day, Congressman Ciscomani visited Northstar Neurology, a facility dedicated to treating veterans suffering from traumatic brain injury and PTSD since 2017. He expressed gratitude towards organizations committed to veteran care. In addition to his focus on veteran affairs, Congressman Ciscomani was honored with the inaugural Border Guardian Award by the Border Security Alliance for his efforts in raising awareness about the southern border crisis. He expressed eagerness to continue collaborating on this critical issue. "Honored to receive the inaugural Border Guardian Award and thankful for all the work the Border Security Alliance is doing to bring awareness to the crisis at our southern border. I look forward to continuing working with them on this important issue."
