The University of Arizona has been included in The Princeton Review's "Best Value Colleges" list for 2024. This recognition places the university among 209 colleges and universities highlighted for providing students with a valuable education investment.

University of Arizona President Robert C. Robbins commented on this achievement, stating, "The University of Arizona takes pride in its ability to consistently deliver to students a world-class education with a remarkable return on their financial investment." He added that the university values its reputation as a student-focused institution that prepares graduates for success.

The Princeton Review selected these schools based on data from surveys conducted at over 650 colleges. The evaluation involved more than 40 data points related to academics, cost, affordability, financial aid, career preparation, graduation rates, and student debt. UArizona scored 88 out of a possible 99 points. Notably, The Princeton Review does not rank the Best Value Colleges in a hierarchical order.

In addition to administrative data, the ranking also considered student surveys from The Princeton Review and alumni surveys from PayScale.com regarding starting and mid-career salaries and job satisfaction.

Rob Franek, editor-in-chief of The Princeton Review, remarked on the selectivity of the list: "The schools we chose as our Best Value Colleges for 2024 are a select group: they comprise only about 8% of the nation’s four-year undergraduate institutions." He commended the efforts of administrators, faculty, staff, and alumni in educating students and guiding them toward successful careers.

Previously recognized by The Princeton Review's "Best Colleges" list, UArizona continues to receive positive feedback from its students. Surveyed students noted that the university emphasizes communication with students and stays updated with student life. They also praised the supportive alumni network and acknowledged the importance placed on both academic studies and life experiences for a well-rounded college experience.
