Tucson opens pools and splash pads for summer relief

Tucson Parks and Recreation is operating 20 pools this summer to provide relief from the heat. Additionally, all nine of Tucson's splash pads are open daily from 8 a.m. to sunset through Thursday, Oct. 31.

The newest splash pads are located at Freedom Park, 5000 E. 29th St., and Fort Lowell Park, 2900 N. Craycroft Road. Admission to city pools and splash pads is free for everyone.
