Ian Michael Kinsler was born on June 22, 1982, in Tucson, Arizona. He attended Canyon del Oro High School, where he excelled in baseball. Kinsler played college baseball at Arizona State University and the University of Missouri. He was drafted by the Texas Rangers in 2003 and made his MLB debut in 2006. Kinsler played 14 seasons in MLB with the Texas Rangers, Detroit Tigers, Los Angeles Angels, Boston Red Sox, and San Diego Padres. He was a four-time All-Star and won two Gold Glove Awards. He helped the Red Sox win the World Series in 2018. After retiring, Kinsler became an Israeli citizen and played for Team Israel in the 2020 Olympics.
