New playground and dog park dedicated at Lincoln Regional Park

Tucson Parks and Recreation recently celebrated the grand opening of a new playground and its largest dog park. The dedication took place on Thursday, May 23, at Lincoln Regional Park, located at 8330 E. Escalante Road. The shaded playground is situated at the lower Lincoln Regional Park Julie Marilyn Reitan Softball Complex, 8116 E. Escalante Road.

Wagging Tails Dog Park is a state-of-the-art facility featuring turf, providing a safe and comfortable environment for dogs to play. The total project cost was $1,867,000, funded by the Ward 4 office and various other sources.
