Local Stakeholders Applaud Ciscomani’s Work to Secure $12.79 Million for Pima County

Local stakeholders in Pima County are expressing their gratitude towards Congressman Juan Ciscomani for his efforts in securing over $12.79 million for various projects in the area. Congressman Ciscomani, a member of the House Appropriations Committee, emphasized the importance of these funds benefiting the community and addressing the specific needs of southern Arizona.

Among the projects receiving funding are initiatives such as the Urban Workforce Development via Career and Technical Education program at Pima JTED, the Wireless Integrated Network Radio Replacement project for Pima County, and the 3D Crime Scene Scanner for the Marana Police Department. These projects aim to enhance infrastructure, public safety, and educational opportunities in the region.

Tucson Mayor Regina Romero expressed her appreciation for the $2.25 million allocated for the Randolph Park PFAS project, emphasizing the significance of protecting the local groundwater and drinking water supply. Sahuarita Mayor Tom Murphy highlighted the benefits of the Campbell Avenue Extension project, which will provide improved road infrastructure to enhance safety and accessibility for various service agencies.

Councilwoman Nikki Lee of Tucson commended Congressman Ciscomani for understanding and advocating for the city's needs, while Kathy Prather, Superintendent/CEO of Pima JTED, thanked him for the funding that will facilitate the expansion of educational programs in the area.

Brian Aronson, Crime Scene Unit Supervisor for the Marana Police Department, acknowledged the impact of the 3D Crime Scene Scanner in improving the accuracy of crime scene investigations. Overall, local officials and stakeholders have lauded Congressman Ciscomani for his dedication to securing these essential funds for Pima County.

In total, Congressman Ciscomani secured $26 million for 13 projects across Arizona's 6th Congressional District, demonstrating his commitment to addressing critical issues and driving positive change in the region.
