ORO VALLEY, ARIZ. – The Foundation for the Restoration of America (FFROA) awarded a $2,000 scholarship to Pusch Ridge Christian Academy alumna Sarah Seifried.
FFROA, a non-profit 501(c)(3) organization, is committed to educating the next generation of Americans about our nation’s founding principles and how they should continue to serve as the foundation for our future.
Seifried graduated in May 2023 and started her undergraduate studies at Texas Christian University this past fall.
She received a $2,000 scholarship after completing the Constitutional Study Program.
Because of this program, Seifried said she’ll be better equipped to share with others the true founding ideals of the United States.
“As I get to know people in college and beyond, there’ll be situations where as I get to know them, I can talk with them about our country,” Seifried said. “By speaking truth into his or her life, I can hopefully shed some light on what America is really about.”
The Foundation’s Executive Director Christine Altenberger shared her excitement about the scholarship program.
“For the future of the country,” Altenberger said, “each generation must learn the true history and founding principles of the United States and why they are important and worthy of respect. As Ronald Reagan said, ‘Freedom is never more than one generation away from extinction. We didn’t pass it on to our children in the bloodstream. It must be fought for, protected, and handed on for them to do the same, or one day we will spend our sunset years telling our children, our children’s children what it was once like to live in the United States where men were free.’”
“These students are better equipped to be our nation’s next generation of leaders now that they’ve been exposed to the values that founded this country centuries ago.”
To be eligible to apply for a scholarship, students must have completed the “Constitution 101” and “Introduction to the Constitution” FREE online courses through Hillsdale College.
