There were 125 African American students enrolled in Flowing Wells Unified District schools in the 2022-23 school year, 5.9% more than the previous year, according to the Arizona Department of Education.

Data showed that Flowing Wells Unified District welcomed 5,268 students during the 2022-23 school year. Among them, African American students comprised 2.4% of the student body to be the third most represented ethnicity in the district.
