The founder of the League of American Workers (LAW) criticized the Biden Administration for a “vaporized border,” citing reports of a surge in illegal crossings in the Tucson, Ariz. Sector.
“As Americans have a hard time paying for the necessities of everyday life, we are spending billions of dollars in outright aid to the illegal migrants who pour across our vaporized border, not to mention the illegal and unjust competition in the labor market, and depressing wages for American citizens,” Cortes said in a video posted on X. “Here's the even worse news — the pace is actually intensifying.”
“The Biden border crisis is accelerating, so we need to have a sense of urgency,” Cortes said.

The U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) last month announced the temporary closure of the Lukeville, Ariz. Port of Entry, due to the surge in illegal border crossings.
The closure, which has no set date for reopening, has impacted both sides of the border and has resulted in travelers having to use alternative ports of entry, such as Nogales or San Luis, adding hours to their journeys.
