Lynn Urquides Elementary School is named after Mary Lynn and Maria Urquides!

Lynn Urquides Elementary School is named after Mary Lynn and Maria Urquides. Mary Lynn's family sold District 1 the land on which they built the school. Maria Urquides was a long-time District 1 teacher and administrator who pioneered bilingual education.
