HOUSE FIRE At 3:48 Friday afternoon #TucsonFire was dispatched to the 9200 block of E. Speedway for reports of a house fire. Engine 16 was first on scene just minutes later at 3:52, where they observed heavy flames and smoke from a carport and attached storage area. Crews immediately pulled lines for fire attack and with the help of additional units this fire was called under control just 11 minutes later at 4:03

 A quick stop prevented this fire from spreading through the home, saving the living area from significant damage. Two children in the home evacuated safely - a few citizens passing by were able to help get a dog, snake and two cats out of the home uninjured. No injuries. Fire investigators are working to determine a cause
