Career and Technical Education (CTE) courses offer students insight and exposure to real-life job skills and training. In a recent visit to Mr. O'Neil's Drafting I class at Eugene Ashley High School, students were holding presentations on their end-of-semester projects. 

Students presented the skills they had learned and the software they had to master to produce 3D designs. But, beyond that, the students talked about how the projects allowed them to experience the benefits of time management, collaboration and consistent communication. All soft skills that employers are looking for in the current workforce.
