From January 28, 2023 post.

The City of Tucson is developing policies to further conserve water in new development, including:

-prohibiting non-functional turf grass 

-requiring EPA WaterSense-certified fixtures 

-requiring separate utility meters for outdoor irrigation 

Anyone with an interest in these policies is invited to join a virtual meeting with Tucson Water and Planning and Development Services to learn more and provide feedback.
