From January 24, 2023 post.
REMINDER: Operation Deep Freeze (ODF) is on, and overflow shelter beds are available for people seeking safety. To join ODF, go to The Salvation Army Hospitality House, 1002 N. Main Ave., in Tucson between 2-5 p.m. for intake. Dinner is served 5-6 p.m. You do not need an ID or a TB card to participate in ODF.
Operation Deep Freeze (ODF) is Tucson's winter severe-weather emergency shelter for people experiencing homelessness. ODF goes into effect when weather predictions are for overnight temperatures of 40°F or lower with rain, 35°F or lower without rain, or when wind chill factors indicate a health hazard from exposure.
