Pima Community College, The City of Tucson's Community Safety, Health & Wellness Program, Pima County Health Department, and Thrive in the 05 neighborhoods will host a training on how to identify and respond to opioid overdoses.
In this one-hour presentation, participants will learn how to administer the intranasal spray version of Narcan (naloxone) when a person has a suspected overdose from opioids. Upon completion, Narcan kits will be provided for participants to carry for lifesaving emergencies. The training session is Wednesday, Dec. 7, from 5:30-6:30 p.m., at Pima Community College Downtown Campus (Amethyst Room), 1255 N. Stone Ave. Register at the link below.
