Tucson Fire and the City of Tucson are proud to reveal the opening of the new Station 8 at 1025 W. Prince Road. This is the second of five new Tucson fire Department stations to be constructed with #TucsonDelivers sales tax funds. Crews have been working out of the new 14,000 square feet station since October 30. During a ribbon-cutting ceremony this morning, Fire Chief Chuck Ryan thanked the citizens of Tucson for their support.
Equipped with the latest technology and design to keep our firefighters safe (and comfortable!), Station 8 is historically the busiest station in the city, and one the busiest in the entire country. We are so happy for our crews, who deserve this new space to continue to meet the needs of our growing community.
