Tucson Collaborative Community Care Team (or what we like to call TC-3!) helped a deaf client in her 80’s find proper housing and care. The client was alone after her husband passed away and needed help with her medications and finding affordable housing. The TC-3 crew was able to half her rent and get her medical needs addressed - a caregiver will now help her get to appointments!
It is so rewarding to see the work our teams do to help the most vulnerable in our community TC-3 Navigators even helped her make the move to her new home.
The TC-3 team goal is reduce the number of frequent users of the 9-1–1 system. Helping out clients like this ensures that their needs are met outside of this system, allowing our public safety resources to prioritize and help as many people as possible. As the team expands, we’ll have more content on all the life-changing work being done everyday. Hats off to you TC-3!
