The City of Tucson's Planning and Development Services Department (PDSD) is currently working on updates to the City's Downtown Infill Incentive District (IID), a zoning option for Downtown Tucson.
This zoning option is a valuable tool to promote infill development and has helped bring more than 1,000 new housing units and new jobs and businesses downtown and along the streetcar route. Potential updates to the IID would make it easier to use the overlay to build housing and create an incentive for affordable housing. Join a virtual or in-person public meeting in October to learn about and provide feedback on potential updates to the IID. Read the news release linked below for dates, times, and more information.
