With three players from the 2021-22 Arizona basketball team selected in the NBA Draft, there will be minutes available for returning players as well as newcomers to fill the gaps. One of those expected to play a large role in that is Courtney Ramey, a graduate transfer who has played the last four seasons at the University of Texas. The native of Saint Louis played in 128 games and made 106 starts for the Longhorns in his career, scoring 1,275 points (10.0 ppg), dishing out 358 assists (2.8 agp) and shooting 39.2% from the floor and 36.5% from the 3-point line.
Ramey met with the Tucson local media on Wednesday to discuss his decision to transfer to Arizona, his goals for this season and who he talked to during the transfer process
