Tucsonans are invited to participate in the "Envisioning a Climate-Resilient Tucson" workshop on Tuesday, May 24, from 8:30-11:30 a.m., at the Tucson Convention Center Copper Ballroom, 260 S. Church Ave. The workshop will allow participants to share their stories and ideas to help envision and create a more climate-resilient Tucson. Experiences and perspectives from those in attendance will help create the path to not only make sure that the City of Tucson will equitably reduce carbon emissions and adapt to the impacts of climate change, but also ensure that our city is resilient and thrives in the face of that change. As part of the workshop, Tucson Mayor Regina Romero will speak about the City’s climate action and adaptation efforts to date.
