Arizona Wildcats Dalen Terry declared for the 2022 NBA Draft while maintaining his college eligibility.

Terry expressed gratitude for the community around Arizona.

“I want to thank the entire Arizona community for accepting a PHX kid with open arms and making me feel at home in Tucson," Terry said in a post to his personal Twitter account April 22.

Terry also thanked the team's coaching staff and praised the quality of the Arizona basketball program in his posts.

“First and foremost, I’d like to thank Coach Lloyd and Coach Miller for recruiting me and giving me the opportunity to come to the University of Arizona and play for this historic program," Terry said in the tweet.

Terry went on to praise his family and attribute his success to their support.

“I want to thank my family for always allowing me to chase my dreams," Terry said. "Without every one of you sacrificing for me, I wouldn’t be here today. I always want to thank my teammates for every single moment we had on and off the floor. I’m lucky to have all of you guys as my brothers.”

Despite expressing his support for the Arizona community, Terry concluded his post by confirming that he was going pro.

"With that being said, I would like to announce that I will be declaring for the NBA draft while maintaining my college eligibility," Terry said.
