Tucson Parks and Recreation invites you to the 23rd annual EGGstravaganza at Mansfield Park, 2000 N. Fourth Ave., on Saturday, April 9, from 10 a.m.-1 p.m. Families can enjoy music, games, prizes, egg hunts (bring your own basket), and a visit from the Easter Bunny. A variety of foods will be available for purchase through local vendors. In addition, the department is hosting a virtual egg hunt leading up to the EGGstravaganza. Today, April 7, is the last day to participate. Visit one of 40 parks throughout Tucson and hunt for 600 egg-shaped signs, scan the QR code on the sign, and submit your information and a picture (optional). Each egg you find is an entry into the Easter basket prize drawing. Winners will be contacted via phone or email provided on the entry form. There is no limit to the number of eggs you can find. The public is asked to leave the eggs in the park for others to find. Visit the website linked below to learn more about these events and to find out in which parks the eggs are hidden for the virtual egg hunt.
