Friday morning Ofc Azuelo & K9 Luna were patrolling the area of Flower & Dodge when Azuelo noticed a suspicious vehicle. The vehicle matched the description of a stolen vehicle involved in a double homicide earlier in the week. Ofc Azuelo & Luna followed the vehicle to the area of Richey and Dodge where they conducted a traffic stop with the assistance of Ops Midtown Officers. When the dust settled Officers detained four people including Zachary Joseph Thomas Naifeh who was ultimately arrested for two counts of first degree murder.
Great police work by Ofc Azuelo and the Midtown Cops who responded to assist led to the closure of this horrible crime. Great work!
