Pima Community College’s upcoming production of August Wilson’s Pulitzer Prize-winning play “The Piano Lesson” runs March 25-April 3. Tickets are $15-$17 (discounts available) at https://pima.edu/.../the.../theatre-arts/pima-presents.html.
The image we ran earlier this week gave the incorrect location for this production. Pima’s production features an all-BIPOC cast and directorial team, including guest director Chanel Bragg, Associate Artistic Director of Arizona Theatre Company, and assistant director Gianbari Debora Deebom, a Pima Theater Arts graduate and local actor/filmmaker.
“August Wilson’s ‘The Piano Lesson’ is my first Black production, a show where I am deeply connected and seen by each character,” Deebom says.
