Tucson Fire Department issued the following announcement on Mar. 1.
Tucson Fire was called this afternoon to assist a male hiker in his 30’s on the Bowen Trail behind Starr Pass.
The #TFD Technical Rescue Team treated the patient on site before using a stokes basket to assist him back to the trailhead.
Family transported the patient for further treatment
Wear the proper shoes and know your limits while out on our trails.
