Pima Community College issued the following announcement on Feb. 18.
Pima Community College is holding community forums to help plan the future for its Adult Learning Centers.
The College has three Adult Learning Centers:
- El Rio, 1390 W. Speedway Blvd.
- El Pueblo Liberty, 101 W. Irvington Road
- 29th Street Coalition, 4355 E. Calle Aurora
“We want to create robust centers so that our neighbors can easily access learning and resources to achieve their academic and career goals,” said Laurie Kierstead-Joseph, Assistant Vice Chancellor for Adult Basic Education for College and Career.
Two forums are planned:
- Virtual: Feb. 22, 1-2:30 pm. Click to join the meeting.
- In person: Co-sponsored by U.S. Rep. Raúl Grijalva, Mayor Regina Romero and Vice Mayor Lane Santa Cruz. March 5, 10-11:30 am, El Pueblo Liberty Adult Learning Center, 101 W. Irvington Road, Building 7. RSVP is requested.
