Tucson Fire Department issued the following announcement on Jan. 5.
January is Firefighter Cancer Awareness Month, and throughout the month we will be sharing facts about cancer in the fire service, how it impacts everyone who serves, and what steps Tucson Fire and others are doing to keep your firefighters safe.
